The new section includes:
Announcement (24/2/09)

Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be released today right across the US and many other NTSC countries.
Famitsu.com reported today (per citing data from it's parent company Enterbrain) that there have already been 166,027 sold units for Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Which is the highest amount of sales on release week for any Xbox 360 game in Japan to date!
The period relating to the sales covers the 16th of Feb to the 22nd of Feb, clearly this is excellent news for tri-Ace and Square Enix. Particularly after far less successful starts with games such as Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant.

The site still lists the US release date at the 24th of Feb, so expect more updates to the official site over the next few days, or even hours. For example the Multimedia and Gameplay sections are still listed as "Coming Soon" at the time of this particular announcement.

Just a quick update today, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume will be released in European and PAL territories as of the 3rd of April 2009.
This will be released exclusively on Nintendo DS, making it the first ever title tri-Ace will release on the dual-screen handheld system. Although unlike Valkyrie Profile titles of the past you will not play as a Valkyrie in it, but rather oppose one.

Announcement (4/2/09)

Today's Famitsu has revealed yet another character for Star Ocean: The Last Hope!
Sarah Jerand: She is a Featherfolk from the planet Roak who wields a staff of sorts, meaning we have yet another Symbologist on offer. Also note that she shares the same surname of Erys and Iousha from Star Ocean: First Departure, considering The Last Hope takes place approximately 36 years prior the past events of First Departure she is likely to be related to them somehow.
